Pastor David Whitmore is Senior Pastor here at Spread The WORD Full Gospel Church.  Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He acknowledged the Lord Jesus early in his life. Pastor Whitmore has served in the community all his life. God allowed him to be on the front lines of what was once called the Murder capital of the world (Detroit) as a paramedic with the Detroit Fire Department for 12 years (1973-1985), being one of the pioneers in the field. He has seen first hand the sufferings and pain that life can bring. Pastor David currently works as a Social Worker working with at-risk and delinquent young men, helping them to transition from detention facilities into mainstream society.  This has helped fuel his passion for serving God's people. 

In 1992 he accepted his call to the ministry, and under the mentoring of the late Pastor Leon Glover and was licensed to preach the gospel in 1997.  In June of 1998 he was ordained to the office of pastor by the presiding prelate of Go Tell It Ministry Worldwide Bishop Corletta Vaughn (Detroit, MI).  Pastor Whitmore also holds credentials with the International Pentecostal Holiness Churches.   A gifted teacher Pastor Whitmore expounds on the word of God and the many treasures found in the scriptures.

God has used him to win many souls into the kingdom and to heal the sick and mend the bruised. His ministry has seen many be healed from all manor of disease by the laying on of hands.  "With God nothing is impossible."

Pastor Rene’ Whitmore a native of Waterloo, Iowa. The daughter of a Baptist preacher she was raised in the Motor City, Detroit, Michigan. 

 Pastor Rene' is a gifted Prophetess, revealing not only the heart of God but brining direction into many lives.   She is the director of A.C.T.S. Academy Learning Center a K - 8 charter school serving inner city Denver (Park Hill), and many at risk youth.   She has recently taken the lead in shepherding the flock at Spread The WORD Full Gospel Church.   Pastor Rene' is also a seasoned and polished Psalmist having several recordings to her credit.

The Intensity and the versatility of her music has been proven to be effective in reaching all audiences. Breaking denominational, racial, and generational barriers with the "Good News!" Her music is described as a variation of acapella ballads with a taste of opera, to toe tapping "soulful gospel". Her preaching is "Fire Filled" as she moves in the gift of prophecy.  Pastor Rene' also serves as lead Psalmist at Spread The WORD Church. She leads the "Worship Experience” ushering God’s people into His presence. 

In her faithfulness to God, he has exalted her ministry far beyond her home base in Denver, Colorado. Rene' toured Europe in 1991, and left an impact in many lives as she shared the word and ministered in song.  Pastor Rene' has released her new single entitled "My Priority" and has just released her new CD "The Psalmist Live". She is an entrepreneur starting and owing several businesses.  Her book  "The Secret Is Out"  revealing the pain of abortion and how God healed her was released in September 2005.  Watch for her new book release "Come On Out of The Poverty Pit". 

 Pastors David and Rene' Whitmore have four children and two grandchildren Tanisha (Ruby & Zander), Danielle, Tasia, and David Michael all serving the Lord. They have also opened their home to foster care, caring for the orphans.  They continue to teach, we are "Helping to Build the Church, by Building People.”  We want to reach our community helping to strengthen families by “Lifting the Name Of JESUS.”
